Julie Culley, an Olympian (London 2012) and the director of Georgetown’s track & field / cross country program, is swapping out her running shoes for a pair of ballroom shoes to participate in the DC’s Dancing Stars Gala at the Four Seasons on Nov. 9. This fun and unique fundraising event seeks to positively impact communities in the Washington, DC region by raising money and awareness for local and national nonprofits. Julie will be competing to raise funds for the Jennifer Bush-Lawson Foundation, which serves economically vulnerable moms and babies by working to increase access to high-quality health care and support.

But she needs your help! Like the show, you — the audience — will help select the winner.

How can you help? By showing your support through donations to JBLF for the gala and contributions of items or services to the gala’s silent auction.

Why do these donations matter? The 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners will be calculated using 60% of the judges’ scores and 40% of the funds raised by the dancer for their nonprofit charity. Winners can earn up to an additional $10,000 for their nonprofit!
