Jennifer Myers, Board Member  Jennifer directs corporate relations for the University of Virginia’s School of Continuing and Professional Studies. Prior to joining the board, Jen served on the 2016 event committee for the Jennifer Bush-Lawson 5K & Family Fun Day. She then became the first full-time executive director for the Jennifer Bush-Lawson Foundation in 2017, a role she held until 2020.

Jen has also worked at the Wall Street Journal, where she was responsible for building new business and sustaining existing relationships totaling $5 million in annual revenues, and YWCA’s national headquarters, where she served as the vice president of marketing and communications. Additionally, she held a series of leadership roles in communications and public affairs at the Aspen Institute, a national nonprofit where she managed all aspects of the department’s work, from public relations, media partnerships, social media and branding to video, events and the Institute’s blog and magazine.

An active member of the Arlington, Va., community, Jen co-chairs the silent auction at McKinley Elementary, is a SEPTA parent liaison for McKinley Elementary, and served a two-year term as a parent representative and board member at Faith Lutheran Preschool.

She holds a bachelor’s degree from the College of William & Mary and a J.D. from Georgetown University.
